We works alongside rural communities to strengthen economic resilience and support households in building stable, self-reliant livelihoods. The focus is on practical, community-driven systems that improve income generation, strengthen resource management, and support long-term financial independence. All interventions are designed to be participatory, locally grounded, and adapted to everyday realities.
VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Associations)
Our VSLA program supports community members to form self-managed savings groups where they regularly save small amounts and access low-interest loans from a shared fund.
Each group is trained on transparent record-keeping, basic governance, and agreed lending cycles.
The approach helps households manage emergencies, smooth consumption, and build a consistent saving culture.
Self-Help Groups
Our Self-Help Groups program supports communities, especially women and vulnerable households, to organise into small collective groups for mutual support and income activities.
Members meet regularly to save, discuss challenges, and coordinate small economic initiatives or skills sharing.
This approach strengthens social cohesion and collective action at household and community level.
Cooperative Strengthening
Our Cooperative Strengthening program supports organised Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to evolve into formally registered cooperatives once they reach sufficient cohesion and economic activity.
We support groups in building governance structures, leadership capacity, and transparent management systems required for formal registration and operation.
